RAPIDFIRE Q/A
Three words to describe you? creative, collaborative, conscientious

What was your first arts "aha" moment, including how old were you? Snow fall from the catwalks of the theatre.  It was Nutcracker at Ballet Arizona.  I was standing backstage waiting to go on and watched the big girls doing Snow at the end of Act 1.  The snow gently drifting down to the stage where the dancers were creating magical lines and gestures with their bodies was transformative.

Why are you a teaching artist? To teach children that art can transform us.

In five words or less, why do you love your art form? Art moves me.  Literally.

Finish the sentence: "Because of Arts Ed..." I can share joy while opening new pathways for students.

What does success look like during your residency? smiles, confidence, teamwork, rhythm and movement

What’s an important life skill you gained through the arts? Adaptability

Who is an artist that changed your life? Lydia Torea

If you were entering a talent show, what would be your specific talent? I truly excel when it comes to cuddling with floofs of all shapes and sizes.

Do you have a secret (or not so secret) obsession? I am obsessed with animals ;-)
